Fred J. Fowler
Retired Chairman of the Board of Spectra Energy Partners, LP

Mr. Fowler is retired Chairman of the Board of Spectra Energy Partners, LP (master limited partnership that owns natural gas transmission and storage assets) (2008-2013). He was President and Chief Executive Officer of Spectra Energy Corp (natural gas gathering and processing, transmission and storage, and distribution company) from 2006 to 2008. Previously, Mr. Fowler held various executive positions with Duke Energy Corporation (gas and electric energy company) and its subsidiaries and predecessor companies, including President and Chief Operating Officer of Duke Energy. Mr. Fowler has been a director of PG&E Corporation and Pacific Gas and Electric Company since 2012. He also is a director of Encana Corporation (natural gas producer).
